AIESEC Alumni Association

Yesterday I had a meeting with Farid and Aaron to discuss about creating an alumni community in the Bay Area. We figure that since we are becoming in alumni soon, we want to keep networking with over thousands or millions of alumni in the world. We decided to create an AIESEC Alumni Association, where alumni can network with other alumni and organize their own events. It is more productive this way when alumni have a control over what they want to do in their community; it is a professional networking associations for alumni. We will be talking to recent graduate alumnus to start this community.
Saki, Chau, Jim, Nadia, Tom, Melanie, Sapna, and Millie are the people who we will be talking to start this community. I am so excited about this community. Aaron is going to Los Angeles to start the AIESEC alumni community there.
Also, if I ever need a lawyer or accountant in the future, I can more comfortable talking to an AIESEC alumni about this.
What do you think about the creation of this community?

  • I second Dody. Tell others to join nomadlife.

But also... count me in for the Bay Area Alumni stuff - things will follow naturally when alumni organize events.

  • It's better if we have an alumni community where alumni will have a once in a month HAPPY HOUR. More like a reunion thing. Member are always welcome in this community. Saki--tell me when you are coming back and I'll talk to you about this more.

    It's very vague right now

Dody-- we need a formal alumni association like what ROTARY CLUB and other networking associations are doing

    thanks guys for the comments

  • More comments:

-AIESEC US alumni network don't work, so it's useless to use that networking tool.

-a physical association or AIESEC alumni once in a month event or 4 events in a year is better to keep in touch with friends in AIESEC

-Alumni experience is not over when you become an alumni; it's continuous process like learning

If you want to know more about this, let's talk online; here are my messengers:
